How to Behave So Your Children Will, Too! is written by Sal Severe based on his experience as a school psychologist for 25 years and giving parenting workshops to more than 20,000 parents.

Severe explains that children's behavior is often a reflection of their parents' behavior. He recommends to parents that by making changes themselves, parents can significantly change their children's behavior. He provides strategies for such problems as how parents can get their kids to do their homework, end tantrums, avoid the temptation to give in to a child when they are tired and how to create reasonable rules and manage anger.

Sal Severe, Ph.D. is the clinical director of Flor del Sol alternative school in Phoenix, Arizona, where he is also the chairperson of the Psychological Services Department. He is the president of the Arizona Association of School Psychologists and a member of the National Association of School Psychologists.
