How Many Films Must A Network Make...

Martin Scorsese's film on PBS about Bob Dylan, "No Direction Home," reminds us of what a shame it is that the networks have basically gotten out of the documentary business. If you missed it, catch the reruns. It's about as close and authentic a picture of the mystery of creative genius as you could imagine. Dylan truly seems like a vessel for The Gods who has absolutely no affection for any other humans (a real shock to anyone who has ever listened to "Positively Fourth Street").

Ed Bradley and producer Michael Radutzsky did a fantastic

with Dylan on "60 Minutes"last year. If they had four hours they could have given Scorsese a run for his money.
