High school students perform epic single-take, music mashup

(CBS News) Seeing as it's my birthday today (a point that may or may not come up a few times), I feel like having some music up on The Feed today. Which is why I was so happy when I came across this epic, single-take, music mashup performed by a very creative group of high school students. It's a bit longer than our norm, coming in at just under eight minutes, but it's well worth it (and you can always skip around). I can't stress enough: you really need to watch this one!

The insanely sweet blend of songs is based on one of our previous music posts, performed by the Highland Trouveres of Highland Senior High School in Pocatello, Idaho, and was posted by YouTube user sabertoothzebras who writes about the awesome extra-curricular activity:

An 8 Minute, 1 take, hardly edited video of the Highland Trouveres. Directed and filmed by Ben Fisher and Bryton Nield.
The music video was actually created for a contest by Zions Bank, that you can find out more about by clicking here. And it (almost) goes without saying that all those involved have just earned themselves a big triple-rainbow salute of musical excellence from all of us here at The Feed!
