Frank: No More Predictions On Bailout Vote
House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) loves talking to reporters, and is always great with a quote, but even he seems to run out of steam after nearly two weeks of intense media scrutiny over the Wall Street bailout bill.
Frank told reporters on Sunday that he "would be glad when this is all over and you can leave me alone," and he was not any happier this morning, reports Dan Reilly.
The Massachusetts Democrat just came off the House floor and said he was done predicting whether thislegislation would pass.
"Why would I guess now, when we are going to know in three hours how it will go."
That's all he said before walking away.
