Fossella Returns To Washington

Republican Rep. Vito Fossella, who has reportedly been living in an apartment above his sister's garage since admitting that he had had an affair and a child with a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, will return to Washington tonight for votes in the House.

Susan Del Percio, the crisis consultant Fossella hired after his drunken driving arrest in Alexandria, tells the Crypt that the congressman is still in the "active decision-making process" when it comes to his political future.

Asked whether Fossella has spoken with House Minority Leader John A. Boehner, who said last week that he had until Monday to make a decision, Del Percio said she "would not disclose any private conversations that they may have had."
