Fiery Hydroplane Crash Caught On Tape
A hydroplane boat race on Lake Washington, just outside Seattle, got a little too hot for one pilot Sunday.
Kevin Aylesworth's boat blew an engine and caught fire during a preliminary race. He had to wiggle out and jump for off as the boat burned up, then try to swim to safety despite beoing loaded down with safety equipment he was wearing.
His ordeal was caught on tape, and he spoke about it with co-anchor Julie Chen on The Early Show Monday.
