Fall Into Fashion

It's hard to believe but fall is right around the corner. Soon it'll be time to put away those bathing suits in exchange for sweaters.

If you can't afford to buy a whole new wardrobe, the latest issue of Glamour magazine shows off what new accessories to buy that will easily update your look.

Executive Director Suze Yalof showed The Saturday Early Show the "must-have" accessories for the fall.

Yalof believes the change in weather will call for a lot of clothes to go back in the closet. So, put away the totes, peasant tops, safari-style outfits, western-style turquoise bracelet and fringed skirts.

According to Yalof, the following should be in fashion for the fall: Velvet is back, bags and belts in exotic skins, corduroy, silk in rich colors and the precious metal gold.

Gold

Gold is hot again. Yalof recommends that the metal should be used as an accent. A gold bag or gold boots makes a black outfit stand out. You can also use gold in jewelry to add glimmer to your outfit.

Shoes

Pointy is still in but the rounded toe is what everyone is talking about. Another favorite are the sexy, tie-me-up stilettos.

Boots

If you had trouble with last season's boots because your calves didn't fit the boot right, well, this is your season. Slouchy boots are in. These are right whether flat or heeled.

Bags

After a few quiet seasons, bags are back in the spotlight with clutches, slouchy bags and the oversized carryalls.
