Excellent music mashup and homage to video games

(CBS News) Do you love music? Do you enjoy video games? (And do you hate written, rhetorical questions that you can't really answer?) If you said "yes" (and probably even if you didn't), then you're going to absolutely love this music mashup that pays homage to both above.

The visual and audio blend  that comes together so amazingly well is entitled "Game Theory" and was posted on Vimeo by Ithaca Audio, who have previously been featured for similarly creative works here on The Feed, and who write about their latest blend of sweet, geek chic:

A 19 track live mashup performed on re-wired video game controllers.
We took a look back at 35 years of video game music (Space Invaders, released in 1978 was the first game to have a continuous soundtrack), picked some of our favourites and mashed them with other tracks we love.
It's crazy to think of the longevity, popularity and growth of video games over the past few decades... and this apt tribute to two things we here at The Feed love so dearly has definitely just earned a big triple-rainbow salute of epic awe!
