NEW YORK (CBS) Danielle Staub of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" knows a thing or two about drama, judging from her antics on the hit Bravo reality show.

But it seems like her past has come back to haunt her after a gossip site reported that Danny Aguilar, a convicted felon, demanded $100,000 from Staub over the phone.

According to RadarOnline.com, Aguilar claims the reality star owes him big time for bailing her out in the 80's with "some drug deal."

"My money got her out of trouble with these drug dealers," Aguilar told the celebrity gossip site. "They wanted her dead and I didn't want them to kill her. I paid for it."

On the show, Staub admitted she was prosecuted in 1986 for extortion and cocaine possession.

But according to RadarOnline.com, she entered into a plea deal with prosecutors and agreed to testify against Aguilar and others in exchange for five years probation and drug testing.

"We all got popped," Aguilar told RadarOnline.com. "Everyone went to jail and she snitched."

Aguilar told RadarOnline.com that the phone conversation between him and the "Real Housewife" on Sunday got real ugly, real quick. He claims Staub called him a "celebrity stalker" and threatened to sue him for defamation of character.

RadarOnline.com confirmed with the Wayne Police Department that Staub was at the North Jersey station Monday morning, but officials wouldn't disclose further information.
