Eli Manning: Colin Kaepernick adds "another dimension" to QB role

(CBS News) Eli Manning, New York Giants quarterback and former MVP -- as well as native son of New Orleans --praised San Francisco 49ers quarterback ahead of Super Bowl XLVII.

"It's hard today get that combination of speed and be able to throw the ball accurately," Manning said Friday on "CBS This Morning," speaking to Kaepernick's unique capabilities on the field.

"Colin's done a great job. He's worked hard. He is very talented," Manning continued. "I think there's always a spot for that pocket passer like myself or like my brother and a bunch of other guys, but if you can get a quarterback who can run around...it just adds another dimension to your offense."
