Diapers For Less

As everyone knows, babies go through a lot of diapers!

It costs about $2,000 to keep a child in disposable diapers from the time he or she is born until they're potty-trained.

But, in its continuing series, "Recession-Proofing Your Life," The Early Show noted that Consumer Reports has found that diapers are one of the few items that are consistently less expensive at large discount clubs such as Sam's and Costco.

You'll generally pay about 21-cents per diaper at the discount clubs, compared to thirty cents at supermarkets or drugstores.

That 30 percent saving enables you to keep $600 in your pocket!

You can also head to the Web for diaper deals. If you sign up, major diaper brands such as Pampers, Huggies and Luvs will mail you coupons each month, and even some free samples.
