Dealing With Baby Sitter Shortage

Baby-sitting used to be a rite of passage for most kids eager to earn some money as early as age 12. Parents depended on this, knowing that at least once a week, if not more, they would get a much-needed opportunity to go out, for a little extra money. But that was yesterday. Today, parents are frustrated.

It's almost a mission impossible finding a good baby sitter.

Brian Connolly says, "It's a supply/demand. The baby sitters know they have the control. You have to start calling weeks in advance."

Finding a baby sitter is only the first step. With three children, Brian and Sandy Connolly go to great lengths to keep their sitter happy.
