David Hartsock, Heroic Skydiving Instructor Needs Help
Thank you for your generous response to this story. After our story aired last week, nearly $40,000 has been raised to help pay Dave Hartsock's medical bills.
I know there are a zillion great causes in the world, but I really feel for David Hartsock - the hero in tonight's Assignment America and, if you feel the same, I want you to know there is something you can do.

It's to help pay the medical bills which have all but bankrupt Dave and his mom. Right now he is going without the care he needs to stay healthy and improve.
Every night he needs to be turned every few hours to prevent bedsores, but there isn't the money to pay someone to do it.
Personally, I think anyone who did what he did to save another person's life deserves, if nothing else, healthcare.
