Condemned Junta Coup, Call For Jihad In Mauritania

Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) released an Internet statement signed by its Emir, Abu Musab Abdel Wadoud. The statement condemned the military coup that took place in Mauritania, claiming that the military junta would never have attempted such move if it did not receive the green light from America, France, and Israel. The statement advised Mauritanian to renounce their quest for misleading democratic system, and instead join the jihadi movement in order to restore the caliphate.
