Coleman Ad Recounts Franken "rape Jokes, Porn"

Forget Minnesota nice.

Norm Coleman turned it up a notch against Al Franken with a minute-long spot revisiting Franken's "worst of" clips -- with special attention paid to a mid-1990s SNL riff in which Franken jokes about 60 Minutes' Andy Rooney taking advantage of reporter Leslie Stahl.

The ad, featuring lots of freeze frames of Franken's contorted features, recounts the standard anti-Franken litany pretty effectively, albeit with a prim, Church Lady voice over.

"Rape jokes, poor and foul-mouthed anger do not make for "good training" for the United States Senate," the ad concludes.

Alas, like Franken's Stahl joke, the ad will never see the light of broadcast TV. It's online-only.
