Clinton Ally Sees Hint Of "Desperation"

New York Gov. David Paterson, a Clinton backer, said in a radio interview yesterday that he disagrees with the Clinton campaign's approach to dealing with the delegations and votes from Florida and Michigan.

According to the New York Daily News, Paterson made it clear that he will continue to support Clinton but that he does not agree with her assessment on those two states. "I would say at this point we're starting to see a little desperation on the part of the woman who I support and I'll support until whatever time she makes a different determination," Paterson said. He added that the DNC should leave the matter of the two states as they stand now. "There was a process," he said. "I thought at the time everybody agreed to it. I didn't hear any objections from the candidates. … So I would think the Democratic National Committee would leave it where it is."
