Chemical Ali's Son Joins Al Qaeda, Disowns His Father
Hamad al Majid, the son of Ali Hassan al Majid, Saddam Hussein's cousin who is known as Chemical Ali, has joined the ranks of al Qaeda while in the Boka prison, according to a report in the Saudi newspaper Okaz.
The paper quotes Mohammed Shahin, the editor-in-chief of al Faisal newspaper, who was an inmate at the prison with al Majid. He claims that al Majid might soon be promoted within al Qaeda ranks to the position of "emir." Shahin also said al Majid told his fellow inmates that "his father was an apostate and God has shown him the right path."
