CBS Welcomes a New Employee

David Leslie has joined CBS. Today is his first day. He will serve initially on a per diem basis, then as time goes by, he could become a staff member and take on additional responsibilities.

David says he's excited about his new opportunity. "I have been wanting to work at CBS for the last six years. I'm very excited about this new experience."

This marks David's third stint at a network. He previously worked with ABC as a correspondent during the 70's, 80's and early 90's. Prior to that he was with the Mutual Broadcasting System during the nation's bicentennial year.

David has lived in New York since 1976 and resides near CBS.Com, so he'll have the option of either taking the bus to work, or on nice days, walking.
