"CBS This Morning": There's an app for that

"CBS This Morning" app now available! 01:15

Now there's a way you can stay connected to "CBS This Morning" wherever you go, and get instant, easy access to all of the show's features.

The broadcast has launched its own app for iPads and iPods -- and it's free at Apple's App Store.

The app gets users to the show's original reporting, news stories, videos and interviews, and keeps you connected to the program throughout the day.

"The Rundown" feature offers a view of all the stories from that day's broadcast, enabling you to catch up with what you missed or navigate to specific stories you want to see.

"Since the launch of 'CBS This Morning,' we've tried to build a unique brand," says CBS News Vice President of Programming and "CBS This Morning" Executive Producer Chris Licht. "This app expands on that effort. It is a reflection of what viewers will experience on the broadcast: smart, significant content delivered in an accessible way."

Licht says the app "extends our reach beyond our morning viewers, thanks to our team of experienced journalists, who continue to report on the stories our viewers care about throughout the day."

The app includes these features:
