Cautious cat meets musical mouse (with dancing)

(CBS) - Whenever we're confronted with something strange and new, a tiny warning bell of caution tends to ring in our heads. This same instinct seems to also apply to those of a feline persuasion, as a young cat is confronted with a new toy mouse in the above video. Watch what happens.

That is one crazy jump at 42 seconds into the clip!

The young feline somehow thought that my random hammering on a guitar was coming from her new toy mouse. I realized this, and turned on the camera.

I don't know about you, but I'm in agreement with the cat's trepidation - I'd be cautious, too, if a common expression was created about your species involving curiosity leading to death.
