Can the Texans win with T.J. Yates? Why not?

(CBS) - From the moment quarterback Matt Leinart fell to the turf with a broken collarbone, the eyes of Houston Texans fans have turned to third-string back-up T.J. Yates. Who is this fifth-round draft pick anyway? Could he manage the ball well enough for the Texans to continue their promising season? Can we win with T.J.?

The only folks who didn't have any questions for Yates were the ones who count: his coaches and teammates. As this fan-made video makes clear, the answer to whether the Texans can win with Yates is simple: Why not?

The video asks the question, but the team's performance on Sunday had the answer. With a 12-for-25 performance over the Atlanta Falcons, including a touchdown pass in his first game as a starter, it looks like the answer is yes - Yates can win.

"It's a great win," Houston coach Gary Kubiak said after the game, "because of everything this team has been through."

Now the question becomes: can the 9-3 Texans continue to win and take that momentum into the post-season. Well, why not?
