Bush "disappointed" With House Vote

Moments ago, President Bush told reporters he was "disappointed" with the House vote, but vowed to address the economic situation "head on."

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush is voicing disappointment at the House vote rejecting the administration's rescue plan for the nation's financial industry and vowed to "address this economic
situation head on." 

The president was meeting Monday with Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and other top advisers to decide next steps. 

"I'm disappointed in the vote by the United Sates Congress on the economic recovery plan," Bush told reporters during a picture-taking session with the president of Ukraine. "Our strategy is to continue to address this economic situation head on. We'll be working to develop a strategy."
