Best, Worst Cities For Men, Women

Madison, Wis. is the best city for men in the United States and Charleston, W. Va. the worst on a list of 100, according to Men's Health magazine, while Salt Lakes City was named best city for women in the U.S. by Women's health magazine. Bakersfield, Calif. pulled up the rear on that one.

The editors of the publications looked at everything from cancer rates and commuting times to air quality, crime stats and the numbers of gym memberships as they compiled their lists, which are in their respective current issues.

Matt Bean, a Men's Health senior editor and contributing editor for Women's Health visited The Early Show Monday to discuss the conclusions.
