Barney "convinced" Of Deal By Sunday

House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank just joined Nancy Pelosi at a presser — and seemed more sanguine than he was after yesterday's Meeting From Hell.

“I am convinced that by Sunday we will have an agreement that people can understand on this bill,” Frank told reporters late Friday afternoon.

"We're back on the progress track," he added, "now that Sen. McCain is safely in Mississippi."
