Backing Up Made Easy

I don't know of any scientific studies on this, but it would seem to be a safe bet to say that most people don't bother with back-ups. Unless a program like Quicken pesters you all the time, you just forget about it. But the truth is, computers fail. Sooner or later it will happen to you and if you don't back up the documents and data that you have stored, you'll be sorry. V Communications makes the process easy, with a software package called AutoSave. Company VP Jeff Hyman...

"You really have three things you need to do with this product. One is decide you want it, the second one is decide to install it, the third one is to select where you want the back-up to go to. The back-up location. After that, nothing else. It runs automatically, starts in the background and it keeps working in the background, doesn't interfere with you, it's completely transparent."
You can back up to a Zip drive or other storage device. Hyman says too often people wait until it's too late...

"How many times have you opened a piece of software, go to install and it says you should make a complete back-up. And people say, it won't happen to me. But it does."
Trust me on this, it does. AutoSave sells for under fifty dollars.
