After her gig as a McCain cable news surrogate took a tragic detour two weeks ago, imperiled Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is going back to the issue that made her a rising TV presence so many months ago: energy independence. In Minnesota today, Bachmann hosted a forum to discuss her new legislation, the Promoting New American Energy Act.
