More than a thousand guests, including members of several European royal families, gathered in the French city of Nancy Saturday for the wedding of Austria's Archduke Christoph von Habsburg and Adelaide Drape-Frisch, the 20-year-old daughter of a French diplomat from Paris.

The two were married in the Basilica of St. Epvre, with the Bishop of Nancy, Jean-Louis Papin, officiating. The civil ceremony was performed the day before the mayor of the town of Lorraine.

Christoph von Habsburg-Lothringen is the second son of Princess Marie-Astrid of Luxembourg and Archduke Carl-Christian of Austria. He is a great-nephew of the last Austrian Emperor Charles I.
