Arizona Canyon Ranch resort and spa exec missing

TUCSON, Ariz. -- An Arizona health resort executive remains missing after a day-long search, reports CBS affiliate KOLD.

Sixty-two-year-old Ann Pardo was last seen at her Tucson home around 8 a.m. Tuesday. Her husband told police he left for a doctor's appointment around 8 a.m., and when he returned around 9:30 a.m., Pardo was gone.

The station reports Pardo's husband didn't call 911 until later that evening.

"People delay calling for whatever reasons," Pima County Sheriff's Department chief deputy Chris Nanos told the station. "That makes our search efforts that much harder to get on to looking for someone who may be traveling away from your area."

Pardo is reportedly the director of life management at Canyon Ranch, a Tucson health resort and spa.

Police don't suspect foul play in the disappearance, reports the station. There were reportedly no signs of forced entry into the home. Pardo had left her keys and cell phone behind.

Pardo is described as five feet, two inches tall and 179 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Officials believe she may have left the house on foot, possibly going for a walk, and could be wearing exercise clothes.

Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call 911.
