AQIM Resorts To Explosive Bags In Its Terrorist Attacks

Algerian security forces gave instructions to all units to step up security to thwart a plot by the al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) group to carry out terrorist attacks using explosive bags instead of the usual explosive belts and car bomb attacks, Ecourouk newspaper reported. Algerian police received intelligence that the leader of the Salafist Group Abu Mus'ab Abdel Wadoud had ordered attacks be carried out using various types of bags such as school bags, briefcases and laptop bags, said the report.
