Andrej Pejic, 98th on FHM's sexiest woman list, is a man

(CBS) Testosterone-filled FHM gave model Andrej Pejic the 98th spot on its  "100 Sexiest Women" list (above, Lady Gaga!), but  insulted him in the process for his gender ambiguity.

After all the outrage broke out, FHM removed Pejic's entry from its site, but - thanks old-school publishing - the androgynous model will still be in the print version of the list, out this month.

The FHM entry reads,

"Although his sexual identity is ambiguous, designers are hailing him as the next big thing. We think 'thing' is quite accurate. Tall, skinny, and flat-chested, Andrej is considered in couture circles as the 'perfect coat-hanger' for high fashion garments, moving the industry on from hot girls who look dangerously boyish to just boys who look like girls. Having managed to get away with it in campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Jean Paul Gaultier, the blonde gender-bender has jumped the gun in hoping he might one day be signed as a Victoria's Secret Model (Pass the sick bucket). Well, he might have a hard time keeping it a secret then."

Question: FHM, if you need a "sick bucket," then why did you include Pejic in your countdown in the first place?

Pejic was discovered while working in McDonald's and currently models both men's and women's clothes. He is kind of a "big deal" in the fashion world, having been ranked no. 11 on Models.com's "Top 50 Male Models" list.

We guess it'll take some time for the cheesy men's magazines of America to catch up with high-fashion.
