Al Qaeda-Affiliated Group Urges Moroccans to Avenge Beating of Woman

Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb called on Moroccans to retaliate for the beating of a woman by a policeman outside the prison of Okkashah. Pictures of the beating had been published in a Moroccan newspaper and angered members of militant Islamist Internet forums. The group seems to use the incident to mobilize Moroccans against the government and urged the youths to pick the arms and join the ranks of the militants.
