Accident, my foot! Passenger shoots another in dispute on Detroit bus

(CBS) DETROIT - Tempers flared - and a gun was fired - after one man accidentally stepped on another man's foot on a Detroit city bus.

According to CBS Detroit, police said it happened early Sunday afternoon when the bus lurched, causing the first man to step on the other man's foot. The passenger who did the stepping apologized, but the man who was stepped on apparently wasn't having it.

When they reached their stop, he shot the first man in the leg.

The gunman ran from the scene and got away. Police said the shooting victim was in serious condition at a local hospital.
