A Better Black Bear
A team of veterinarians in Baton Rouge have operated on a 400-pound male black bear who was hit by a car. The bear had suffered a fractured jaw and shoulder, which they were able to set.
During the surgery, doctors discovered an older wound from two bullets that had lodged near the bear's spine.
