GRESHAM, Oregon (CBS/AP) We're not sure why Marcia Brandon was in such a big hurry, but Oregon State Police say the 82-year-old woman got a speeding ticket Thursday for driving twice the posted speed limit.

That means she was clocked at 110 mph.

KVAL-TV reports a trooper spotted Brandon's car doing 110 on Highway 26 west of Gresham - that's east of Portland.

The octagenarian said she was on her way to an appointment and wasn't aware she was going that fast.

She might be in less of a hurry to pay the fine...which is $1,103.
