4 Dead In Domestic Squabble
Grand Junction Police say a domestic squabble sparked the deadly shootings at a local grocery store Friday night.
Witnesses say the gunman apparently entered the store with a weapon before dragging his wife by the hair out of the Eastgate City Market, reports CBS Affiliate KREX-TV in Grand Junction. The man then shot his wife and two bystanders who tried to intervene.
Witnesses say the gunman then sat down on a bench outside of the store and shot himself.
All four people died. All four victims were transported to a local hospital.
Police have not identified any of the victims or the gunman.
Officer Shari Zen says the shootings were the result of a domestic dispute. She says the gunman and his wife were recently estranged.
