LAPD officer suspended 10 days for role in botched South LA fireworks explosion

According to police records, the unnamed officer was suspended for 10 days, without pay, for being "deficient in their duties." The report said the officer's failures contributed to the massive explosion in June of 2021. It damaged dozens of homes and some people are still without a permanent place to live. Mike Rogers reports.
