Group Checking Off Items On Bucket List For Little Dog With Brain Tumor
PITTSBURG, Calif. (CBSLA.com) — Employees at a Bay area shelter want to make sure one little dog lives her final days better than a human.
The 8-year-old chihuahua mix named Pinto was abandoned by her owners and has only a few months to live because of a brain tumor.
That's why shelter workers are helping her check off a bucket list filled with adventures.
Thus far, Pinto has played in the snow, gotten married, went on a ride-along with firefighters and police, and even baked holiday cookies.
Many of the adventures have been made possible with help from strangers.
Next up on the list: a scenic 17-miles drive in Monterey County.
