'Planning Perfect Parties': A Guide For Tweens & Teens

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Let the party planning begin!

Author Jen Jones visited the KCAL9 studios Monday to talk about her new book "Planning Perfect Parties," and share some fun party theme ideas for Tweens and Teens.

Thanks to the DIY craze and the boom in online resources, teens and tweens are more empowered than ever to plan their own parties—we call it CIY (Craft It Yourself).

The book is a primer in all areas of party planning: from budgeting to recipes to playlists to décor to etiquette. It's chock-full of information, but the main thread throughout the book is creativity….and fun!
