Library employee knocked out in unprovoked attack
Anaheim police are searching for a suspect in an unprovoked attack of a library employee.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the suspect assaulted a library employee of the Anaheim Central Library on March 3. At about 6:15 p.m. the employee was walking around the library when he came near the suspect.
The suspect then stepped in front of the victim and then punched him in the face for no apparent reason. The victim fell backward, hitting his head on the tile floor, causing him to lose consciousness. The employee suffered a laceration to the back of his head and was transported to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male between his late 20s and early 30s with a mustache. Police described him as tall, with a thin muscular build about 200 pounds with short hair. He could also be bald.
He was last seen with a black hooded sweatshirt with red drawstrings, light brown pants, white shoes and a Dodgers baseball cap.
