Music fans trawling for the inside scoop on their favorite recording artist or band follow this international trade publication on Twitter for reliable, up-to-date news, reviews and videos. Billboard heats up the social networking site numerous times daily, dishing about most of the happenings within the music community oftentimes before the saucy tidbits become items of mainstream interest. Since the 1930s, the influential magazine has been charting the industry's most popular songs and highest-selling albums and EPs. Because of social media's rapid growth and magnetism, Billboard is now ranking those recording artists who have taken to public hubs, including Twitter, to market their wares and microblog with their supporters. Dubbed "Social 50 Music Chart," the company determines an artist's weekly appeal in social media by averaging out the number of additional friends and followers the performer is able to attract, among other factors. This publication does an admirable job on Twitter, keeping everyone abreast of the hottest trends in all musical genres.

LA Phil's Twitter fans are the first to learn about upcoming concerts and guest-starring appearances by famous recording artists. Its webmaster is diligent about letting followers know about ways they can utilize their ticket stubs to enjoy extra perks, including complimentary beverages. LA Phil's social media page is displayed neatly with marvelous information, ideas and tips, so there is no reason to gather insights from other source offerings on the Internet.
