How To Get Your Hands On The Shoes Banned By The NBA
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — We've heard of banned books...and being banned in Boston? But shoes banned by the NBA?
They're shoes/sneakers/athletic wear sold by Athletic Propulsion Labs. Whatever you call them, the NBA wants to call them off sides.
What? Huh!? The shoes can actually make a player jump higher...(a guy 7 feet tall needs an advantage?) so the NBA screamed "Foul!"
Saying they give the player an unfair advantage, the shoes have been banned.
How do you get your hands on a pair?
By going to the company's Website, of course. And...these shoes ain't cheap. Some will run you $300 a pair. (Hey, who else can afford these BUT someone playing in the NBA!?)
The shoes/sneakers are the brainchild of twins Adam and Ryan Goldston, both former USC basketball walk-ons.
