"Mr. Peabody & Sherman" Is Creative, Funny And Fun
DETROIT (WWJ) - Talk about a fun movie! I absolutely loved Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and adults and kids of all ages are going to love it, too! Mr. Peabody & Sherman is creative, it's funny, and it's a whole lotta fun. I especially liked the way the story combines well-known historical figures and events with fun and make-believe.
Mr. Peabody (Ty Burrell) is the world's smartest dog and Sherman (nine-year-old Max Charles) is his adopted son. The father and son duo use a time machine known as the WABAC (pronounced way back) to travel back in time. The machine was invented by Mr. Peabody so Sherman could learn about history first-hand.

The two are having loads of fun until Sherman gets into trouble at school and, to impress a classmate (yes, as you might have guessed, she's a cute one), he takes her time traveling – defying Mr. Peabody's instructions! Because of their actions, the course of history could be changed forever.
If you're a kid or a kid at heart, or you have kids, make plans to see Mr. Peabody & Sherman. It's a wonderful family film that it would be a shame to miss.
Mr. Peabody & Sherman also features the voices of Ariel Winter (Penny); Stephen Colbert (Mr. Peterson); Leslie Mann (Mrs. Peterson); Patrick Warburton (Agamemnon); and Allison Janney (Miss Grunion).
The movie is based on the series produced by Jay Ward. His daughter, Tiffany Ward, is the film's executive producer. Mr. Peabody & Sherman is directed by Rob Minkoff, whose previous hits include Disney's "The Lion King" and "Stuart Little" and "Stuart Little 2."
