THE DEFENSE

Q: Let's start with the basics. What's your car's main use?

A: Getting me from point A to point B, home and work. It usually takes me about a half hour to get to work and 45 minutes to get home, so around an hour and 15 minutes.

Q: I see. Where did you get this sweet ride?

A: I bought this car from Serra in Romeo. They treated me like gold! A year of free oil changes and service, free gas for a month, and they sent me cookies!

Q: When did you buy it? Have you put a lot of miles on it?

A: June of '08. About 56,995.

Q: Other than commuting, do you ever go on road trips? What's the farthest you've driven in this car?

A: The farthest would be Mackinac Island and back. It's about 300 miles each way, so over 600 miles round trip. I've done it several times actually, sometimes by myself and sometimes with other people.

Q: Let's get down to the serious questions. Do you have any rules in your car?

A: Basically, anything goes in my car! No alcohol of course.

Q: If your car had a theme song, what would it be?

A: "The Way You Move" by Outkast.

Q: What would your car's human emotion be?

A: Ooh, my car's emotion is definitely sexy.

Q: OK, let's jump ahead a few years. How many miles do you think you'll get out of this car?

A: I used to have a car similar to this. I got about 200,000 miles out of it, so I'm hoping to get that much.

Q: What do you think your next car will be?

A: A BMW, no specific model. I'm just a fan of German engineering, but I hope to keep this one for quite some time.
