Maverick is unique because it's a surprise! You don't get to see any of the ride until you're experiencing it in person.

Heed the sign!

When they say "no earrings" they mean it. A friend of mine was stabbed by her earring while on the ride. Adding insult to injury, the earring popped out and was never found.

A piece of history that's still a thrill. At 125 feet tall with a wood structure and a steel track it's one of the tallest at the park. It's unique in that there are two tracks side-by-side where the train cars 'race' through the ride.

Which is faster ... red or blue?

Millennium Force

It's hard to miss when you arrive at Cedar Point. This coaster stands 310 feet above the Earth. It broke 10 world records when it opened in 2000 and continues to deliver ultimate thrills to those who challenge it. Riders will travel 93 mph during their two-minute journey!

Feel zero gravity as you twist upside down multiple times. The drops aren't super severe so it's closer to the fun side of the spectrum instead of the fear side like Millenium Force.

It's right by the front gates -- so if you're early you can ride it first thing. Some like to start at the back of the park and hit it in the afternoon when the crowds are lighter toward the entrance.

The maXair

If you're one of those people who loves a thrill, but hates coasters, this is the ride for you. 50 riders strap in with their feet dangling below as the giant ring they're seated in starts to spin! The ring is set into a pendulum motion, reaching a height of 140 feet. Talk about a real thrill.

Top Thrill Dragster

One of the tallest coasters in the world, and certainly a faster ride than you can imagine! Sit down, and enjoy the 420 foot drop. For those in your group who aren't up to the challenge, there is grand stand seating for spectators.
