White Substance Temporarily Closes CTA Stop
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Authorities say a white powder was found at the CTA Red Line Lake Street station.
It was discovered after 9:20 Thursday morning on the mezzanine floor of the station according to the CTA and Chicago Police.
The Chicago Sun-Time reports the station was closed but reopened at 9:45 a.m. after investigators said there was no danger.
