Man dies after shooting inside residential building on Chicago's South Side

CHICAGO (CBS) — A man died after a shooting inside a residential building in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood overnight. 

Police said they found the man in the rear stairway of a residential building, in the 7900 block of South Rhodes Avenue, just after midnight. He had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead. 

Chicago police are working to identify the victim, but believe he was between 18 to 25 years old.
