Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, whose standing with U.S. Hispanics is already suffering, found himself in a confrontation Tuesday with Spanish media's most well-known journalist, Jorge Ramos of Univision.

He may be limited to 140 characters, but Donald Trump's Twitter wars know no bounds. His latest targets include his opponents for the Republican presidential nomination and -- once again -- Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.

Stocks trim losses in Asia

But Shanghai's index fell despite Beijing's decision to cut a key interest rate to try to help stabilize gyrating financial markets.

As the Moroccan train attack suspect is hit with multiple terrorism charges in France over his alleged plans to massacre dozens on a high-speed train bound for Paris, CBS News' Charlie D'Agata has new details on the efforts of the American men who thwarted him, and helped each other survive the ordeal.

Inquiring mind

Iowa college student Kelsi Wolever fought through the state fair crowds aiming to talk with presidential candidates about renewable energy policy -- and take a selfie. She caught up with six of them and was surprised to find that the personal exchanges piqued her interest more than their policy proposals. Wolever gave CBS' Kylie Atwood her appraisal of the 2016ers she met.

Gracious move

IndyCar driver Justin Wilson died Monday, a day after he was hit by debris during a race. He helped others by becoming an organ donor. Adriana Diaz is at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where a memorial to Wilson is drawing fans.

New Direction

New safety technology sweeping the auto industry is also changing crash tests. At the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the new focus is on preventing collisions. Kris Van Cleave got behind the wheel at their newly-expanded test center in Ruckersville, Virginia.

Agonizing 911 calls

This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of Katrina. For many who survived the ordeal, the visuals of that day are etched in their memory. CBS News has obtained never-before-heard calls made after the levees failed. One call from 2544 Dubreuil Street came from a 37-year-old woman trapped in her attic.

It was one year ago that an instructor at an Arizona gun range was accidentally killed by a 9-year old girl firing a machine gun. Gun instructor's children send message to girl who accidentally killed their father On Tuesday, the instructor's children launched a national campaign to convince lawmakers to set an age limit for the use of automatic weapons.
