(Credit: CBS St. Louis)(CBS/KMOX) ST. LOUIS - A Missouri truck driver convicted of killing his live-in girlfriend and chopping her to pieces is to be sentenced Monday in Franklin County.
According to CBS St. Louis, the jury that convicted 37-year-old Vernell Loggins in 25-year-old Stephanie Fields' slaying recommended that he receive the death penalty.

Detroit residents Montoya Givens, 20, Christopher Moorehead, 20, and Brian K. Young, 18, were charged with carjacking, unarmed robbery and conspiracy, according to the Wayne County prosecutor's office.
