Gunfire erupted Thursday afternoon at two locations separated by a handful of houses in the city's Russell neighborhood, a crime-ridden section dotted with boarded-up houses.

(Credit: WOIO)(CBS/WOIO/AP) CLEVELAND - A 29-year-old woman was stabbed during an argument while sitting behind the wheel of a car Thursday night, and when she tried to drive away she struck her alleged attacker's 2-year-old daughter, authorities said Friday.
The woman, Sharice Swain, and the girl both died. The toddler's mother, who is suspected in the stabbing, was found naked several blocks away and arrested.
