(AP) DENVER - The suspect in the deadly Colorado movie theater shootings asked a judge Monday to enter a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity, a move that is widely seen as James Holmes' best hope of avoiding the death penalty.

/ AP Photo/Philadelphia Daily News, Yong Kim(CBS/AP) PHILADELPHIA - Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the 72-year-old abortion doctor accused of murdering four babies after they were allegedly born alive during abortion procedures at his Philadelphia clinic, was found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder Monday.
Gosnell was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of a patient who came to him for a later-term abortion procedure.
