Cops: Chicago man tossed baby during argument

(CBS) - A Chicago man is facing child endangerment and other misdemeanor charges after police say he threw his 13-month-old son into the air during an argument with officers.

Police say Ahmad Boyd, 22, was sitting on the front of a parked car Saturday evening, holding his young son, when police asked him to move to the sidewalk for the child's safety, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Calif. ice cream vendor found shot in his truck

(CBS) STOCKTON, Calif. - A beloved ice cream vendor is fighting for his life after being found shot inside his ice cream truck Sunday, reports CBS Sacramento.

Mohammad Rafique was just two blocks from home when he was apparently attacked. He was flown to UC Davis Medical Center in critical condition.

SF police arrest suspect in killing of five

(CBS/AP) SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of killing five people, found dead in a home Friday morning.

Binh Thai Luc, 35, was taken into custody Sunday morning and booked on five counts of murder, police chief Greg Suhr said. The bodies of three women and two men were found Friday by a woman with access to the home.

(CBS/KHOU/AP) WALLER, Texas - A 22-year-old man has confessed to fatally shooting his parents and brother in their Texas home, say police.

According to CBS affiliate KHOU, investigators say Trey Sesler has contacted extended family members since his arrest Tuesday, saying he was sorry for killing his mother, father and brother.

According to CBS San Francisco, police say a female family member entered the home on Howth Street and notified police of the bodies shortly before 8 a.m. Friday.
